Who we are
The Lovejoy String Quartet:
Founded in 2021, the Lovejoy Quartet, featuring violinists John Fadial and Jennifer Lyford, violist Sarah McCoy, and cellist Beth Vanderborgh, has quickly become Wyoming’s go-to string quartet for upscale weddings and gala celebrations. This stellar foursome features faculty from the University of Wyoming and UW music alumni. The quartet specializes in performing light classics for all types of events and have been featured performers at the Atlas Theatre, on the Cheyenne Symphony Hausmusik series, Visit Cheyenne’s Farm-to-Table events, for the NYE2023 celebrations at the Cheyenne Depot, and Cheyenne Symphony’s Bourbons for Beethoven gala. In addition, they have collaborated with KatBird Studio to provide elegant music for exceptional weddings in Wyoming. The name “Lovejoy Quartet” raises a hat to one of Laramie’s most well- known pioneers, Elmer Lovejoy.
